Ehkä Joan Of Arcin myös.
Grindhouse Releasing email: Grindhouse Releasing's 4K Special Edition of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST will have its world premiere October 5, 2025, at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles. Originally released in 1980, Ruggero Deodato's controversial horror classic remains one of the most infamous and influential films in the genre. Grindhouse Releasing has restored every shocking frame of CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST for this special edition, which presents the Alan Yates "Green Inferno" documentary footage directly from the original 16mm camera negative in its native aspect ratio of 1.37:1 for the very first time. "It's a whole new and perhaps even more powerful experience watching the movie this way, with the alternating aspect ratios," said Grindhouse Releasing owner Bob Murawski. "This is essentially the same way we constructed Orson Welles' long-unfinished masterpiece THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND. And, of course, we have also painstakingly preserved the original theatrical version of the movie as well for our upcoming ultra-deluxe UHD release." Spoiler Kotimaista VHS-kansitaidetta leffan Alfa-Panorama Film & Video Oy -julkaisusta 80-luvulta:

British label Fabulous Films has provided a promotional trailer for the recent 4K restoration of John Carpenter's Dark Star (1974), which will be released on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray this November. Description: This definitive 4K restoration has been expertly restored from the original 35mm film reels, bringing John Carpenter's cult sci-fi classic to stunning ultra-high definition. The soundtrack has been digitally enhanced and fully restored in Dolby Digital 5.1, ensuring the most immersive viewing experience yet. From John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) and Dan O'Bannon (Alien, Total Recall) comes this brilliantly clever and darkly funny parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Dark Star follows a dysfunctional intergalactic mission where four bored astronauts are assigned to destroy unstable planets—but end up filling their time with sun-lamp tanning, playing with a mischievously plastic-looking alien mascot, and conversing with their ship's increasingly erratic AI. As the mission unravels, a rogue "smart bomb" gains self-awareness and starts questioning its existence, believing itself to be a god. With catastrophe looming, only one crew member—an ex-surfer—finds an unorthodox way to return to Earth: riding a piece of debris back home like a cosmic surfboard. Originally a 72 minute USC student film, Dark Star was expanded into a theatrical release after producer Jack Harris encouraged Carpenter and O'Bannon to add an extra 15 minutes. This special edition includes both versions and is packed with exclusive bonus features that dive deep into the film's controversial production, groundbreaking special effects, and legacy. This online exclusive features a limited edition Dark Star Mission sew-on patch presented in a unique limited (500 only) edition clamshell and o-ring package. Film Versions Included: • Original 72-minute Director's Cut • Expanded Theatrical Release 84-minutes
SF Studios tuo uuden painoksen Se7en 4K Steelbookista, joka myytiin alkuvuodesta heti loppuun ja täälläkin joku jäi ilman. Julkaisuajankohdassa on eroja eri kaupoissa, mainitaan lokakuuta ja Coolshopissa marraskuu.
Erittäin hyvä ja tervetullut uutinen! Kansikuva vain on kaikessa sietämättömyydessään yksi käsittämättömimpiä päätöksiä jolle Warner on sanonut kyllä. Kuinka vaikeaa tämä voi olla? Tai vaihtoehtoisesti vaikkapa tämä? Näitähän piisaa...
Uusinta painos tulossa myös loppuunmyydystä Obi-Wan Kenobista. https://www.ginza.se/product/star-w...series-collector-s-steelbook-edition-/911039/ Rupesin jo vähän harmittelemaan etten kopannut tätä joulukuussa 2024 Filmihullusta hintaan 85€, mutta tulihan se uusi painos lopulta.

Kino Lorber 25.11.2025 Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976) (Kino Cult #41) (4K UHD) Cult movie superstar Dyanne Thorne reunited with director Don Edmonds to revive the sadistic, sex-crazed character who made her a legend in Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks. Assisted by her twin assassins, Satin (Tanya Boyd, Black Shampoo) and Velvet (Marilyn Joe, Black Samurai), Ilsa serves the perverted pleasures of a decadent oil baron and sex-trafficker, El Sharif (Jerry Delony). An American diplomat (Richard Kennedy) and military officer (Max Thayer) try to gain access to El Sharif’s oil, but once they witness the horrible pleasures of his desert playground, will they be allowed to escape? Produced in the wake of the 1973 OPEC oil crisis, the sequel abandons the Nazis of Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS in favor of a fresh stereotype custom-cut for its time, and proves itself to be just as tasteless and politically incorrect as its predecessor. Product Extras : • Audio Commentary with Actress Dyanne Thorne, Director Don Edmonds and Actor Howard Maurer, Moderated by Humorist Martin Lewis • Audio Commentary by Film Historians Kat Ellinger and Evgueni Mlodik • She Wolf of the SS: Interview with Don Edmonds, Part Two, by Elijah Drenner • Alternate (Less Explicit) Footage
