Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is preparing 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of The Sandman: The Complete First Season (2022), starring Tom Sturridge, Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong, Patton Oswalt, and David Thewlis. The two releases are scheduled to arrive on the market on November 28.

Description: Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Coraline), THE SANDMAN is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of ten epic chapters following Dream's many adventures (plus a bonus episode featuring two fan-favorite stories). When the Sandman, a.k.a. Briteillä ei ole vielä edes päivämäärää tuolle 2. kaudelle Trekkiä.
Mitäköhän tässä nyt tekisi? Kovasti kuumottaa tuon katselu. Tosin nuo Disney sarjat esim Mandalorian ja Warnerin Babylon 5 ovat tulossa samoihin aikoihin Briteissä, joten ne voisivat syödä SciFi nälkää loppu vuodesta.
Nythän ensimmäisen kauden hinta on pudonnut jo 33£. Aika vähän, kun ajattelee, että kyseessä 3x BD100 UHD-levyt Dolby Vision kuvalla.

Kävin oikein testaamassa Ginzassa ja lasku olisi 223,29€. Voi olla, että on pakko taipua tähän.

 

Kaikki nuo on nähtynä ja ainoastaan Dune tulee hankittua hyllyyn.
Penguin on kyllä kova mutta ehkä riittää blu-ray kun on sen verran "pienen tilan" kuvausta. Maisemat jää vähemmälle.
Ja saapahan suomiteksteillä.
Mando 3 ja Ahsoka oli aika kertakäyttökamaa. Mando ehkä aavistuksen parempi noista muttei aikaisempien kausien tasoa.

 

Ehkä tässä on itsellä se, että yhtään näistä TV-sarjoista en ole nähnyt. Se vähän ajaa tätä asiaa. Vielä kun kuitenkin kärsin tästä parantumattomasta sairaudesta, että kaikki minkä hyllyyn hankkii, on oltava sen hetkisellä parhaalla laadulla.
Jo pelkkä silmäkarkki tuo oman ilonsa ja sitten vielä SciFiä, niin alkaa ostohousut solahtamaan jalkaan. Tuo Dune ilmestyy 14.4. niin on tässä hetki aikaa vielä kärvistellä, kun varmaan samassa paketissa haluan.
Penguin ei ikävästi ole Cdonissa, kun voisihan sekin ilmaisilla posteilla kilpailla Ginzan kanssa? Eikä löytynyt levykauppa X:stäkään.

Cdonista näköjään irtoisi toisessa ketjussa mainittu Halo S2 UHD 60€ hintaan, mutta kyllä tuo Britti Amazon on vielä halvempi.

 

Fallout: Season 1 (4K UHD)

Julkaisu 8. heinäkuuta ainakin Ameriikoissa.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment plans to release on 4K Blu-ray Knight Rider: The Complete Series 4K. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market in the Fall.

Oho. Ehkä Miami Vice on seuraava? En ole saanut ostettua tuota kallista Saksa Bluraytä, mutta jos Knight Rider on tulossa UHD:nä, niin kyllä se Miami Vice sieltä kohta tulee perässä, kun Jenkkien oma bluray siitä on heikko laatuinen.

 

Kansa haluaa ja suorastaan vaatii Kovaa peliä Bostonissa (Spencer: For Hire) optiselle medialle.

The Last of Us kausi 2 4K Steelbook ja muut versiot Pohjoismaissa todennäköisesti syyskuussa, kuten maailmallakin.

 

Nyt on tullut virallinen julkaisuilmoitus. Onko kuva HDR vai SDR on vielä kysymysmerkki ja ilmeisesti myös se, että onko kaikki alkuperäiset musat saatu mukaan.

Ei kyllä ole paskempi kuva, itsellä molemmat versiot. Tai sitten vaihtelee jakso/kuva kohtaisesti. Katsoin kausi 1 jakson 16 "The Topaz Connection" peräjälkeen ensin 4k/hdr ja perään paikka-paikoin turbinen boxista, 4k hdr oli kirkkaampi ja tarkempi ja rakeisempi kuin bluray. 4k oli tuoreemman näköinen eikä niin tukossa kuin bluray. Nämä oman silmän havaintoja, Samsung s90c 77" tv:llä. Lueskelin että alkuperäisiä musiikkeja olisi korvattu muutamassa jaksossa, ja yhdessä jaksossa olisi musiikki poistettu kokonaan, tanssikohdasta.

 

Ted Lasso: The Richmond Way 4K Blu-ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Ted Lasso: The Richmond Way(2020-2023). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on November 11.

Description: In a bitter divorce settlement from her billionaire husband Rupert Mannion, Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) becomes the new owner of British football club AFC Richmond. She's assisted by her Director of Football Operations, Higgins (Jeremy Swift), who formerly worked for her husband. Her first order of business is to fire the team's current manager and replace him with an idealistic all-American football coach Theodore "Ted" Lasso (Jason Sudeikis). Ted and his friend, assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) cross the pond to take up the management of the team's "long, albeit modest" history. Ted gets to know the team – including Team Captain Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), top scorer Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) and more – but finds his first friend in the locker room assistant Nathan (Nick Mohammed). Half a world away from his wife and child, Ted could use a friend. But he presses on, nevertheless. Oliko tälle tarvetta?
Itse olisin niin paljon mielummin nähnyt The Expanse UHD julkistuksen.
Ehkä syynä on, että ilmeisesti tästä on neljäs kausi tekeillä, niin nostellaan tietoisuutta ennen sitä?

 

Onkohan tämä Nordic-julkaisu peruttu? Jokin aika sitten tätä näki myynnissä mm. Ginzassa ja Future movie shopissa, mutta jossain välissä hinta pompsahti 10-20 eurolla ja samalla taisi UPC-koodi vaihtua UK-julkaisun mukaiseksi. Myytiinkö Nordic-versio jo ennakkoon loppuun vai peruuntuiko julkaisu? Epäilen jälkimmäistä.

Eipä sillä, että asialla niin väliä olisi, sillä UK-julkaisussakin vaikuttaisi olevan ennakkotietojen mukaan tekstitykset mm. suomeksi.

 

Soitin Futuremovieshoppiin ja sieltä omistaja kertoi, että on peruttu SF Studiosin Nordic. Ennakkotilaajat saavat vanhalla hinnalla, itsekin varasin ja maksoin jo kesäkuussa. UK julkaisussa on myös suomitekstit. Ikävä uutinen kuitenkin.

 

Neloskausi ? Eeeiiiiiiii.... Kolmoskausi oli jo niin pettymys, että parasta siinä oli kun loppui.

Onni onnettomuudessa sentään, että sait alkuperäisellä hinnalla. Noin kait se kuluttajasuojalainkin mukaan tietysti kuuluu mennä, kun saatavilla kuitenkin on oleellisilta osin vastaava versio.

Eipä tässä toisaalta mitään harmiteltavaa ole, kun UK-julkaisusta tosiaan löytyy suomitekstit. Itselläni on ykköskausikin UK-julkaisuna ja suomiteksteillä. Toivottavasti Nordic-julkaisuja saadaan silti jatkossa, vaikka vähän heikkoon suuntaan on menty.
