VIHDOIN!!! Tätä on odotettu formaatin aamunkoitosta alkaen. Luojan kiitos, että juuri Plaion on saanut oikeudet leffaan ensimmäisenä. Kuvanpakkaukselta on näin ollen lupa odottaa todella paljon. Harhaluoti on eittämättä yksi suoraviivaisimmista ja mieleenpainuvimmista toimintaelokuvista, jonka takuureseptissä edukseen erottuu erityisesti väkivalta ja kontrolli sekä koston tematiikka. Lähes 35 vuotta valmistumisensa jälkeen se on osaltaan myös karu muistutus vallitsevista realiteeteista suurstudio tuotantojen laadun laskusta tasolle, jossa kyetään enää lähinnä äimistelemään budjetteja jollaisilla tällaista uskottavuutta on joskus filmattu liukuhihnalta genreen. ^ Tuota on odotettu. Teatterissa tuli nähtyä ja muistaakseni K18 ikärajalla varustettuna. 4K UHD olisi ollut mieluisampi, mutta hyvä se näinkin.
Elokuvateattereissa Harhaluoti oli kielletty alle 18-vuotiailta ja (muistaakseni) leikkaamaton. Sitä vastoin leffan Egmont Film, VHS-julkaisu lyheni (videovalvontalautakunnan päätöksellä?) "22. Myöhemmin Future Filmin julkaisema magneettinauha läpäisi Suomen sensuuri-indeksin kulttuurin voitoksi, ja erityisesti elokuvaväki oli odotetusti mielissään. DVD:nä elokuva näki päivänvalon skandinaviassa 2001, jolloin Star Media Entertainment'n hopeakiekolla se nähtiin vielä kerran kotivideoformaatissa kuvasuhteeltaan ei-anamorfisena. Tämä kelpaa molemilla korkeamman resoluution formaateilla. Tätä(kin) saatiin odottaa aivan liian kauan, mutta parempi myöhään kuin ei milloinkaan. Edit. Ei ole vaikea veikata, että sitä mitä saksalaiset taas edellä niin muut perässä. Hämmästyisin suuresti, jos jenkit ei vuoden loppuun mennessä leffaa julkaise. Vaikea myöskään nähdä miksi UHD ei olisi listalla?
