A restored and remastered 4K version of John Woo’s HARD BOILED, starring Chow Yun-Fat and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, is set to have its premiere at Cannes Classics.

Following its Cannes Classics premiere, the newly restored HARD BOILED 4K will be released in North America through Shout! Studios’ new entertainment label, Hong Kong Cinema Classics™, and in France through Metropolitan Film.

No niin, hyviä uutisia. Sitten vain odotellaan & ihmetellään kuka julkaisee UK:ssa. Toki tuo 4K on alue vapaa. Ja kun "pää avattu", niin sitten vain lisää John Woo:ta 4K:na. Olen muuten tavannut kaverin R&A festareilla silloin muinoin. (Olen Tosi Vanha) The Killer katseltiin ja kaverin mielestä olisi kovin tylsää jos kokoajan pitäsi aseita ladata, LOL. Ja ne kyyhkyset lentää ... *sigh*

 

Kyllä, jos katsoo mitä tehnyt ja kuinka paljon. Mutta muutama todellinen helmi löytyy. Mutta myös todella paljon ei-niin-helmi kamaa.
